Stone cold birthday

It's my birthday today, and I got one of the best gifts ever!

I've wanted this for a long time, so I was pretty excited. I was so surprised! Then, when I decided to blog about it, I had all kinds of ambitious plans to provide essays and links about the whole thing, but... Well, screw it, it's my birthday. I'm going to go eat some of my very strange but yummy homemade orange liquor cream and chocolate cake...

...while looking outside at my first ever attempt at an inukshuk. Birthdays ROCK!

Thank you so much, Luther. I love you !

Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone. It's been a fun week!

Jason, uh... yeah, um... no, that structure is oriented toward the position of the "it looks pretty there."

It's a highly controversial scientific theory. You probably have never heard of it. :-p

happy belated birthday! i rather enjoy your rock shaped man. it's like sophisticated legos, for adults.

Heather, it was amazingly fun to work with the rocks. Like Legos before the kits and little Lego men, when Legos were just one huge mess (mixed with a couple of pennies and some broken crayons) in a big bucket, and you had to make an image in your mind and then try to get there with the little bricks.

Very cool.
